The Chemistry Department at Duke University engages in multiple recruitment activities each year. Faculty and current graduate students typically travel to various universities, institutions, and conferences each year to promote our inter-disciplinary doctoral program both to peers and to potential applicants. The Graduate Studies Office engages in nationwide recruitment efforts by attending diversity forums and graduate fairs across the country.
In the Spring, the Chemistry Department will invite selected applicants to visit Duke University and the department. More information about the programing and scheduling of these visits in Spring 2026 will be forthcoming.
