How has being a Chemistry graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"I had excellent faculty and graduate student mentors through Duke Chem, and I would not have gotten to where I am today without them! Working in my research lab taught me grit, made me a better communicator, and developed my problem solving abilities when probing research questions."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Chemistry programs?

"Start independent research early and network!"
