How has being a Chemistry graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"Duke Chemistry forced me to think analytically, problem solve, accept personal challenges, struggle some, yet all the while being supported by the department, my peers, and some needed tutors."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Chemistry programs?

"My advice to students would be for them to believe in themselves. You are not at Duke by accident. With struggles in the class and lab comes growth. If you need help, ask for it! It’s available, always. Your success is just one of the department’s achievements."
