How has being a Chemistry graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"It adds scores to your resume when employers see you graduate from Duke. It increases your chance to get to the next round of interview. It also provides more opportunities to negotiate higher salary with the employers. Once you get hired, what you have learned from the chemistry professors will place you in a better position to adapt the industry environment more quickly."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Chemistry programs?

"Publish more articles, learn more about organic synthesis, analytical instruments such as GCMS, LCMS, NMR, etc."
