Room Reservations

Classroom Reservations

French Family Science Center has only two classrooms: the Bonk Auditorium in 2231 (seats 173)  and 2237, a smaller seminar room (seats 25). These rooms are controlled by Trinity College and not by department staff.

To request a reservation for 2231 or 2237 FFSC, please contact Christiana Conti (c.conti@duke.edu). Please note that reservations for either of these rooms must be made at least one week in advance of the requested meeting time.

Conference Room Reservations

To request a reservation in any of the Chemistry controlled conference rooms in The French Family Science Center you may email Christiana Conti (c.conti@duke.edu) or Angela Mosley (angela.mosley@duke.edu). Chemistry reserves 1213, 1218, 3224, 3225, 3232, and 5316 FFSC. Requests for any other conference rooms in French should be directed to the Department of Biology, which also resides in French.

The Department also provides a quiet, reservable writing space in our building. There are writing carrols available on the first floor that may be reserved on a four-hour basis. Priority will go to emeriti faculty and students writing dissertations, but the spaces can be reserved by any member of the Chem Department. If you're interested, please contact Angela Mosley in the main office.
