How has being a Chemistry graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?
"I went on to earn a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Washington in 1999. While I now work at a biotech on the software team, I've primarily worked in software companies that focused on either healthcare or life sciences."
What advice would you give students in Duke's Chemistry programs?
"Chemistry is a great major to lay a foundation for careers in science, healthcare, as well as non-scientific fields. The rigor of the education prepares you well for learning a number of other subject area."
