How has being a Chemistry graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"The academic rigor at Duke prepared me perfectly for medical school. The breadth of extra-curricular options within the wider Duke community also allowed me to discover medicine as a volunteer at the Duke medical center pediatric hospital."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Chemistry programs?

"These are the best 4 years available for you to try anything that peaks your interest. As a Duke student, you will succeed academically. So take the time to discover new people, new sports, the community of Durham, and some of the more esoteric courses available only at Duke."
