How has being a Chemistry graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"My Duke education, including my Chemistry minor, prepared me very well for my next phase of schooling as an MD/PhD student at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, which then propelled me to my current career. I look back fondly on my time at Duke as an undergraduate, including the rich education, culture, and spiritedness."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Chemistry programs?

"I believe it is an excellent field of study for those interested in biomedical careers of all types, including basic science to clinical. I had many fellow classmates with a Chemistry major who went on to very successful careers as well."
